DESCRIPTION:Join Master Gardener\, Holly Teig\, for a presentation on Bird Friendly Yards. \nHolly Teig is an Extension Master Gardener serving Peoria County. Holly completed Master Gardener training in 2020\, after retiring from Caterpillar\, Inc. A life-long gardener\, Holly’s horticulture passions are flowers\, seed collection\, home landscape and design\, and spending time in nature. She volunteers at the Illinois Central College demonstration garden\, the Jubilee College Butterfly Garden\, supports horticulture hotline questions\, and mentors new Master Gardener trainees. In 2023\, Holly received the State level Outstanding Master Gardener recognition for her volunteer work. When she’s not in the garden\, Holly is hiking\, traveling\, scrapbooking\, and sewing.
