Join Amy Filter MSN\, RN for an engaging\, heart-centered session that combines mental health education open dialogue\, and somatic learning—body-based practices that reconnect us to safety\, resilience\, and hope. Come learn more about the latest research that helps protect ourselves from challenging times and how we can engage in daily action while still knowing we are not alone in the process.\n\n\nExplore the real-life signs and root causes of depression and suicidal ideation \n\n\nIdentify protective factors—such as social connection\, purpose\, physical activity\, community\, and emotional awareness—that reduce risk and build resilience \n\n\nLearn how trauma\, chronic stress\, and disconnection affect the nervous system \n\n\nPractice somatic tools like breathwork\, grounding\, gentle movement\, and emotional regulation techniques that support healing \n\n\nSafe\, supportive\, and stigma-free environment \n\n\nConnect with a broader global movement of people saying\, “SameHere”—we all go through challenges\, and we all have the capacity to heal \n\n\n\nAfter losing her best friend to suicide in 2013\, Amy Filter\, MSN\, RN has created a gentle community of hope and healing as she took her many years of nursing and grief and is now helping others to transform their lives through trauma coaching. Having worked in areas of addiction/recovery\, the local Veterans Affairs and various other mental health spaces\, Amy has created a community who appreciates a more holistic way of healing within the mental wellness space.
