We love partnering with Brimfield area educators to help students develop life long learning skills. Learn about established ways the Library can support you and your students or reach out to discuss and develop new collaboration opportunities.

Brimfield School District and St. Mary’s School of Kickapoo educators are eligible for a library card to check out materials for classroom use. Educators should bring their school ID to register for an educator card.

Let the Library come to you! Contact a Librarian if you are interested in a visit for any of the following services:

• Storytime in the classroom
• Instruction on using BPLD’s electronic resources
• Promotion of Library services and programs

Bring your class to the Brimfield Public Library! Contact a Librarian to plan your visit. Visit options include:

• Library tour
• Library card registration
• Material checkout
• Booktalks on specific subjects or new books
• Storytime, STEAM, or other programs that compliment your classroom instruction
• Instruction on using BPLD’s electronic resources and technology

Request fiction, nonfiction, and audiovisual items on a specific topic or topics to support a classroom unit. It may take up to two weeks to prepare a resource bundle, but if you need it more quickly please indicate that on the request form and we will do our best to accommodate.

A variety of high to low-tech technologies, including robots, VR headsets, and 3D pens, are available for checkout by Brimfield Public School and St. Mary’s Catholic School educators. View a complete list of kits and checkout instructions here.
