STRATEGIC PLAN

Our vision, mission, strategic directions, and goals provide a roadmap for our work over the next four years.

In January 2024, the Brimfield Public Library District launched an initiative to gather community input that included a Community Survey, in-person discussions with focus groups, and one-on-one discussions with key community stakeholders. The Library used the community’s feedback, statistical data, and input from Library staff and Board members to develop our 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.

Reaching Out: Raising community awareness of the library

• Increase focus on marketing to consistently reach the community
• Expand offsite outreach
• Improve online presence to increase visibility and accessibility

Empowering Staff and Enhancing Spaces

• Prioritize long-term staffing needs to ensure staff retention, satisfaction, and teamwork
• Maximize usage of library spaces to meet new needs while ensuring safety and sustainability
