3D Design and Printing
3D Printers
The library has two 3D printers available to print 3D models in ABS, PLA, or flexible plastics. You can download freely available designs from websites such as Thingiverse and Printables or create your own 3D models using Cad software such as Tinkercad.
The printing rate is $1 per hour, with a maximum print time of 8 hours print time varies with the size, complexity, and density of the model. Library staff will work with you to balance the settings for the best quality within our print time limit.
Submit print requests in-person or email [email protected]. If you are submitting an object you designed yourself, files should be in .stl or .obj formats. Please include your name, the type of plastic you would like, your color preference, and any additional specifications for your print in your request email.
Review our 3D Printing Policy for further guidelines and restrictions.
3D Pens
