Children and teens with disabilities and their families are invited to come discuss ways the library can make its spaces, collections and programs more welcoming and accessible. Join the library for a conversation on Tuesday, September 24 from 6:30-7:30pm in the Activity Room.

Brimfield Public Library District was awarded a $20,000 Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant by the American Library Association (ALA).  The award will help the library better meet the needs of area children and teens with disabilities. It is important to the library that we spend the grant funds in ways that will actually benefit the children and teens in our community – please come share your thoughts.

If you cannot attend the conversation, but still want to let the library know how we can make the library more welcoming and accessible, please take our accessibility survey. The five question survey should take about two minutes to complete and is completely confidential.

If you have any questions or would prefer to share your comments and ideas in a one-on-one setting, please contact Katie Hahn via email: [email protected] or phone: 309-446-9575.
