Shirley Lampkin Cinnamon

Mrs. Shirley Cinnamon was born in 1937 to Clarence and Mary VanCleve Lampkin. She was raised near Princeton and graduated from Wyanet High School in 1955. After attending IL State Normal University for two years, she met William Cinnamon who was teaching at her hometown high school. They married in 1957. Mr. Cinnamon took a job as Agriculture teacher at Brimfield High School in 1964, retiring from that position in 1991. This interview focuses on the Cinnamon Tree Farm–their family business, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, girls’ sports and Brimfield Area Historical Society.
