We love our teens! We want the Library to be a safe and welcoming place for you to study, explore your interests, hang out with friends, play games, make things, and just be.

Teen Spot
Grab a book or graphic novel from our Young Adult section and find a comfy spot to read.

Maker Space
There are lots of options for fun and learning in the library’s Maker Space. Check out a laptop for in-library use from the front circulation desk and work on homework, watch videos, play Online games, or create 3D designs and digital content. Gather with your friends and play Switch games, Virtual Reality (VR) games, or traditional board games. Meet your classmates to work on a school group project. (Max occupancy 30)

Need a quiet place to study? Use one of our Study Rooms. (Max occupancy 3)

Project Next Generation
Interested in robotics, movie making, photography, 3D Printing, and other science, technology, engineering, art, and math topics? Learn the technology skills you need to make and do cool stuff. Check out our upcoming PNG workshops here.

Battle of the Books
Students in 7th and 8th Grade English Language Arts at BGS…. Let’s Get Ready to Reeeeeead! BPLD and BGS have teamed up to host the ultimate, annual battle of book knowledge.

How to participate: Form a team of friends, decide how you are going to divvy up this year’s titles, start reading, participate in fun, book-inspired activities, and then battle against your classmates for gift cards and glory! Find the complete list of this year’s titles.
